I was about to watch a movie online when a web suddenly popped up with a video that showed people that said that they were now millionaires because of the web.It said that they were top secret and asked me to join. I was afraid they were fake so i deleted the web and went to google to search for the web, and nothing came out related to it. perhaps it was because they were top secret? Did anyone else had the same experience as me?

This is most likely a scam (I’m sorry to break it to you) and if anything like it comes up in the future and they ask for ANY personal information, exit out or hang up

Haha. Totally fake. The internet is full of fake stories of “How to earn x amount of money every month online”.

And you really think if there were people who became millionaires on the web that they’d just ask random people to join? Really?

Some websites you can join that make claims like that and they’ll let you do surveys or click ads all day, for almost nothing in return. It’s a pyramid game where some at the top earn all the money and all the other naive people who just want to sit by their computer and earn money instead of having a real job are the ones who do all the work.

It’s just like when you see an ad where it says “You’ve won 1,000,000 click here to claim your price”. It’s a fake ad to make you click it and get into whatever malicious purpose they have.
