Gaining 1 Ib a day by eating more food is that good?

So I use to eat only 2-3 meals a day and I weighed 105 Ib , Iam 15 male 5″4. Lately I wanted to gain more weight so I could tone myself for the girls, I eat 4-6 meals a day and I gained 5 pounds in a few days. Is that to much am I going to get fat like that? I do workout and stuff to.

You are supposed to eat only 500 excess calories a day. Even if you eat more calories than that a day your body will probably just flush them out. If you eat a lot of excess calories it will go into fat because your body can only produce 1/2 – 1 lb of muscle a week. It takes time to grow bigger muscles. Look at months and years not days.

Not 500 calories total. 500 calories more than you use up during the day. Lets say on average you burn 2000 calories a day. Your weight stays stable. So you eat 2500 calories a day and gain a pound in a week. Also the more you weigh the more calories you burn in a day.
