Hi Ashley,

Godaddy has domains for $6.99 for the first year:

If you don’t care about the domain extension, the .info names are cheaper, going for $1.99 per year:

DomainsAreFree has them for $3.99
I assume it’s for the first year.

Personally, I use aplus.net for all my domain names. I have many of them :)
Aplus takes credit cards and they are very secure. I’ve used it for my own domains, and many of my friends and family.

In any event, $9.99 per year is no big deal. You could pay that by skipping lunch for a few days.

How does $15 a year sound? Microsoft offers domain registration through their Office Live Small Business service. If you register your domain with them, you get free hosting as well, in case you want to register and host your site at the same place. I use securedomains.in and that’s why I suggest this company, and have few options, you may choose any one.

1) Get a Free .COM, .CO, .NET or .ORG with purchase of a new 12-, 24- or 36-month web hosting, quick shopping cart, or website builder plan.

2) Or, Domain Just $1.99/year if you purchase Hosting, Builder at least 3 months.

3) Or, Buy Direct $10.49/yr .Com
